Terms & Conditions

Please find below our full terms & conditions. By completing your child’s registration on class4kids to enrol your child with Create Space Studios, you are hereby agreeing to the terms and conditions detailed below. 

PAYMENT

  1. Invoices for timetabled classes are sent via our booking system at the end of each term for the following term.
  2. Payment is due before the start of your child’s first class each term.
  3. Payments can be made, for free via BACS to the Create Space Studios account,

  1. When paying via the Class For Kids booking system, fees incurred will be absorbed by the bill payer from September 2023. If you wish to have details, please contact hello.createspace@gmail.com as prices are subject to change
  2. Late payments will incur an administration fee of £10, unless prior arrangement has been made and agreed in writing.
  3. If you are experiencing difficulty paying your fees please get in touch ahead of the term.
  4. Payment must be made for workshops at the time of booking. A place will not be held until full payment has been received


DISCOUNTS

  1. A sibling discount of one free class per full term will be applied to all younger siblings invoices.
  2. For students attending more than one discipline at Saturday Sessions, discounts will be applied. 
  3. In the event of a lockdown and classes move online each dance class will be discounted by £1 per week and Saturday Sessions by £1 per week.

COMMITMENT TO CLASSES & SHOWS

  1. Commitment is key! For students to build confidence, develop their understanding, improve technique, bond with their classmates, make progress, have a sense of achievement etc. they need to attend consistently 
  2. When we’re working towards performances, regular, committed attendance is a must.
  3. Dates for performances are shared as early as possible, please do add these to your diary to avoid double booking!
  4.  Please let us know immediately if your child cannot take part. They can still attend class, of course but the teacher can plan to omit them from the final choreography/directions and their classmates will then be aware and prepared during rehearsal.  
  5. Show Days are usually busy and long days but all students must commit to their call times on both days. It’s hugely impactful to the students in attendance to have someone missing and have to compensate which can leave them feeling unsure/nervous etc. 


TERMINATION OF CLASSES

  1. Your son/daughter is automatically re-enrolled each term and school year. Therefore, if a student wishes to stop attending a class or decrease the number of classes they attend, we require a minimum half term’s notice given in writing. For example: to stop attending a class at the end of the Summer Term notice should be given by the end of May half term, at the very latest. 
  2. Delays or failure to give notice will mean payment for class fees will still be required.
  3. Absence of notice or late notice for exceptional circumstances will be addressed on an individual basis.
  4. In the event of a pupil leaving Create Space Studios with fees still outstanding, Create Space Studios reserves the right to pursue recovery of the debt by all legal means including court action.

WORKSHOPS

  1. School holiday workshops and experiences are offered for varying age groups. Please note when booking places are not guaranteed until payment has been made.
  2. In the event that Create Space Studios cancel a workshop, all monies will be fully refunded minus booking fees. 
  3. Once your child’s place is booked no refunds can be given should you wish to withdraw your child for any reason.  
  4. Staffing and content may be subject to change i.e. due to staff illness.


MISCELLANEOUS

  1. Parents agree to disclose any relevant medical, neuro diverse, disability or special needs that may need considering or additional support that may be required in advance of attendance. We want to provide the best teaching experience and pastoral care to all our students, in an inclusive environment. Having the right information will ensure we can do this.
  2. We take photos and videos that we may use for CSS promotional material and social media. Please do let us know if you prefer for your son/daughter not to be included for such promotional purposes.


COVID 19 

  1. In the event we are forced into another ‘lockdown’, our classes will continue online. As an alternative is offered we will not give refunds or credit missed classes to subsequent terms however we will offer a discount. (please see above Discounts section).  
  2. We can make an exception regarding online classes for our younger students aged 4-5 years, if you don’t think they can manage on zoom. Numbers may affect whether these classes will run during a lockdown period.

THE SAFETY OF OUR STAFF & STUDENTS IS OF UTMOST IMPORTANCE TO US. THESE GUIDELINES HAVE BEEN SET OUT TO KEEP EVERYONE SAFE WHILST STILL ENJOYING THE CLASSES. 

IF YOUR CHILD IS DISPLAYING SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19, PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND CLASSES. 


  • CLASS TIMES ARE STAGGERED TO MINIMISE NUMBERS OF PEOPLE ARRIVING
  • PLEASE DO NOT LOITER IN THE CAR PARK, PLEASE DROP OFF/COLLECT PROMPTLY
  • NO PARENTS/GUARDIANS TO ENTER THE BUILDING
  • STUDENTS TO USE CORRECT ENTRANCE & EXIT
  • WHILST WAITING, PLEASE KEEP SOCIALLY DISTANCED
  • STUDENTS MUST SANITISE HANDS UPON ENTERING & BEFORE LEAVING THE BUILDING
  • TRY TO MAINTAIN A SOCIAL DISTANCE IN CLASS WHEN POSSIBLE, AT LEAST 1M
  • WATER BOTTLES MUST BE CLEARLY NAMED
  • STUDENTS MUST USE BATHROOM FACILITIES ONE AT A TIME
  • AVOID PHYSICAL CONTACT WITH OTHER DANCERS & STAFF
  • AEROBIC MOVEMENT WILL BE LIMITED 


WE WILL:

  • FOLLOW GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES 
  • HAVE SMALLER CLASS SIZES 
  • CREATE CLASS BUBBLES
  • CLEAN THE DANCE SPACES & TOUCH POINTS BEFORE & AFTER EACH CLASS
  • WEAR A FACE COVERING WHEN SEEING STUDENTS IN/OUT OF THE BUILDING
  • MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCE WHILST TEACHING
  • TAKE QUICK ACTION TO INFORM YOU IF A CASE OF COVID IS REPORTED
  • WE WILL STILL PROVIDE A FUN, CREATIVE CLASS TO NURTURE OUR STUDENTS
